Smashing it! Series of Scottish Records now approved

Following our November meeting, the Board of scottishathletics has approved a series of new Scottish Record performances.

The Track and Field Commission, via the volunteers on our Records Committee led by Arnold Black, scrutinises performanced and the attendant paperwork.

Once again, athletes (and coahces, clubs) have excelled themselves in terms of re-writing the history of our sport.

Among the overall list, athletes to set new Senior Scottish Records are our 4 x 100m Women (Rebecca Matheson, Alyson Bell, Sarah Malone, Georgina Adam); 3x800m Men (Cambuslang Harriers: Christopher McLew, Gavin Smith, Jamie MacKinnon); Laura Muir; Jack Lawrie; Nick Percy; Stephen Mackenzie; Alessandro Schenini; Sarah Calvert
