Scottish Records lodged on scotstats.net

Scottish athletes have been ‘smashing it’ in a range of events during 2026 . . . and here is the proof!

Our Records Sub-Committee has been studying performances and the relevant paperwork to ratify no fewer than 15 new Scottish Records over recent months.

From the Lanarkshire AAA Champs to the Diamond League, from U14 to Senior, from marathon to relays, Scottish athletes have been in fine form.

And we are pleased to confirm that the scottishathletics Board has now approved recommendations from the Records Sub-Committee to validate those 15 performances.

Thanks to Arnold Black and the team of volunteers for hard work processing these Records.

Congratulations to all the athletes involved and to their families, coaches and clubs involved in their development over a number of years.
