Picked for Scotland: Hill runners ready for Junior Home International

Scottish Hill runners head for Wales next month for the Junior Home International.

And we can now confirm those selected to represent Scotland in this event across two age groups.

Scotland teams at U20 and U17 will compete in the JHI at Devil’s Bridge in Wales on Saturday 13 September.

Selections followed on from the trial race at the Cademuir Rollercoaster with the top two in each age group offered places.

The additional places were picked on current form; as per the Selection Policy on our International Handbook.

U20 Women: Emily Atkinson (Haddington); Hania Czebreszuk (Aberdeen AAC); Isla Paterson (Gala Harriers); Jessica Taylor (Edinburgh AC)

U20 Men: Thomas Hilton (Moorfoot Runners); Ethan Lorimer (Harmeny AC); Rowan Taylor (Lasswade AC); Lachlan Thomas (Ross County)

U17 Women: Lucia Connell (Strathearn Harriers); Nancy Corrie (Harmeny AC); Anna Meek (Inverness Harriers); Anna Ross (Falkirk Victoria)

U17 Men: Seb Darlow (Gala Harriers); Joel Gillan (Central AC); Ben Hodson (Stewartry); Billy Sutherland (Ross County)
