The 4J National Track Relays brought the curtain down on great summer of track and field action in Scotland – the first complete championships season since 2019.

Here’s a special message to our qualified Officials and volunteer helpers from the scottishathletics Competitions Team . . .

‘Thank you for officiating at this summer’s scottishathletics National Championships.

‘These competitions would not be possible without all of you generously giving up your time to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day; from experienced graded officials to newcomers gaining their first officiating experiences and the enthusiastic group of event volunteers.

‘Looking ahead, details of the upcoming Officials’ Conference will be communicated soon and availability for the Winter season will be requested over the coming weeks.

‘Nominees for the annual 4J Studios scottishathletics Technical Official of the Year will also be announced soon, with the worthy winner presented with their award at the 4J Annual Awards in Glasgow on Saturday 29 October.

‘We offer our congratulations in advance to all of those nominated and shortlisted.

‘We hope you have enjoyed the season’s championships, and that we will see many of you again indoors in the new year . . . after a well-deserved break!’
