Webinar – Dr Juliet McGrattan on menopause, athletics and running

Tuesday 14th November 2023

We are delighted to offer a free webinar with menopause expert, Dr Juliet McGrattan, as part of our Menopause Friendly campaign.

Juliet has been a great supporter of our work around menopause, and her previous webinar for jog leaders received incredible feedback from inspired participants.

The online session is open to coaches, officials, jog leaders, and club organisers or leaders, and is free of charge.

Your club doesn’t have to be signed up to the Menopause Friendly campaign to take part – whether you’ve been thinking about taking that step, or are just curious to find out more about the topic, please do join us on 22 November at 7pm.

You don’t have to be experiencing menopause, or likely to, in order to benefit from the webinar. We would actively encourage those without menopause experience to take part, and make the most of the supportive environment of the webinar to find out how they can help others.

Juliet will talk about what menopause is, what symptoms it can cause, and how staying active through running/athletics can help.

There will also be some tips for jog leaders, coaches and club leaders on making sessions menopause friendly, so you can keep your athletes engaged and active through this stage of life and beyond.
