Masters XC – entries close Thursday; Officials course

Saturday 12th January 2019

Masters XC Champs on February 2

The Scottish Masters XC Champs are heading for the Borders early in 2019 – and entries are due to close next week.

Hawick will be the venue for the championships on Saturday 2 February and entry forms are now available.

There has been a terrific response by Masters athletes to this event over the past couple of years with really big fields at both Dundee in 2017 and Kilmarnock in 2018.

It’s hoped the 2019 version at Hawick will be equally well-supported with the Masters XC one of the events which are ‘rotated’ in terms of geographical location each year.

Follow the link the page on the Event section and then click through to register your interest in receiving an entry form. Entries close at midnight on Thursday 17 January.

Help us help the sport!

We’re always looking to try and grow the cohort of dedicated folk who act as Officials at scottishathletics events.

And there is now a chance to take an Endurance Officials course – which includes a Risk Awareness Course.

This is Level 1 opportunity – so if you have no experience of officiating, you are very welcome to join us – and it’s happening at the Emirates Arena on Saturday 17 February. Dave Cairns is the tutor on the day.
