Scottish Masters athletes head into international action this coming weekend in cross country.
The teams selected by the Scottish Veteran Harriers Club will represent Scotland in Dublin at the Great Britain and Ireland Masters XC.
Teams compete from V35 and above and the SVHC selection for 2022 looks particularly strong with many familiar names and World, European, Scottish and UK Record holders and Champions in various age brackets.
It’s the first time the event has been staged since 2019 having been delayed in both 2020 and last year due to Covid issues.
Great to see it back and good luck to all the Scots making plans to race this weekend in Ireland.
We are reliably informed that Santry Park in Dublin can be a true mud-fest if the weather’s wet . . .

*It’s a similar story with Katie White and Ann White of Garscube. Like mother, like daughter . . .
