International Handbook (see Track and Field)

Scotland are heading back to the Loughborough International once again this year.

Loughborough University will host this year’s event on Sunday 19 May 2024.

And we are delighted to be taking a Scotland team south for the annual event as a track and field international opportunity.

Scotland will compete against England, Wales, GB and NI U20s, Loughborough Uni and a select from the National League.

As per our international handbook, we are looking to select for the following events to represent Scotland (one per event):

Women:

Scotland won the Women’s 400m in 2023 thanks to a strong run by Carys McAulay

Scots win five events (May 2023)

Selection will be based primarily on performances from the 2023 Season and 2024 Indoor Season. Consideration will also be given to early 2024 Outdoor Season form

LIA is widely recognised as the curtain raiser to the outdoor season with an action-packed day of first-class athletics hosted at the Paula Radcliffe Stadium on campus.

Guest places are also available.
