Two dozen of our talented teenagers were in action at the London Mini Marathon on Saturday.,

It was a great experience for our U17 and U15 athletes and the trip included a memorable meeting with World 1500m Champion Jake Wightman.

There were some strong individual performances with National Athletics Academy athlete, Corey Campbell, taking a bronze medal in the U17 Men’s race.

Well done to the Team East Lothian athlete and his family and coach.

Just as impressive was the overall Scotland team effort with podium places for three of the four teams.

Pride of place there for our U17 Women’s team who took golds thanks to the efforts of Millie McClelland-Brooks, Amy Teasdale, Caitlyn Heggie and Katie Sandilands with support from Jessica Inglis and Saoirse McNulty.

Well done to those athletes and their families and coaches.
