LET’S GO! We launch new development programme
We’ve launched LET’S GO, the national Run, Push, Jump, Throw programme for 5-12 year olds, developed by scottishathletics.
This vibrant, and inclusive programme will revolutionise and modernise the delivery of Run, Push, Jump, Throw across Scotland.
It will give our affiliated clubs, Local Authorities, schools, and partners a multi-functional app and session booking platform to effectively plan and deliver their Run, Push, Jump, Throw Activity.
We have information sessions online over Thursday 3 July, Monday 7 July and Wednesday 9 July to explain more on how it works.
Details further down this story: please do sign-up for one of the session.
The programme is made up of two main digital platforms:
The LET’S GO App
The LET’S GO Booking Platform:
Now we would like to invite representatives – coaches, parents, club officials – our affiliated clubs to an information session.
The first of these is later this week on Thursday (3 July). Join us online from 7pm – 8pm on Zoom. Register here
We’ll then have two additional sessions the following week to showcase the app and the booking platform, where we’ll support our clubs to get set-up, logged in, and familiar with using them.
App session: Monday 7 July from 7pm-8pm. Register here
Booking Platform Session: Wednesday 9 July from 7pm-8pm. Register here
In the meantime, if you’d like to know more about ‘LET’S GO’, reach out to your National Club Manager, or email us at letsgo@scottishathletics.org.uk.

‘I’m really delighted to launch this amazing brand and programme to the sport and wider communities,’ said David Fallon, Head of Development.
‘The digital platforms are exciting and have great potential to support our clubs to manage and grow their Run, Push, Jump, Throw sessions.
‘Our friends at Brand Oath did a fantastic job to deliver such an impactful, visual brand that encapsulates the programme and age group we’re trying to encourage to try our amazing sport.
‘Scottish Disability Sport and the Athletics Trust Scotland Young People’s Forum were integral in shaping this brand to have inclusivity front and centre.
‘It’s such a community resource that reflects the vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive environment and people at the forefront of our amazing sport in Scotland.
‘I am sure LET’S GO will be a brilliant resource for our clubs as we approach Glasgow 2026, and should help to grow capacity in our sport to capitalise on the buzz of another home Commonwealth Games.
‘I’d like to thank all of the clubs, coaches, athletes and partners that have been involved in shaping this programme, be it in the coaching content videos, the launch film, or helped to shape the programme or brand.
‘We couldn’t have done this without your input and we’re delighted to have such a powerful brand and programme to deliver for the sport.’
