Jumps and Throws GP action this Saturday – useful info

There’ll be scottishathletics Jumps and Throws Grands Prix taking place this Saturday. The fourth events in our series see Jumps at Pitreavie in Dunfermline, and Throws at Ayrshire Athletics Arena in Kilmarnock, with events at both kicking off at 10am.

Among the ones to watch at Pitreavie will be Henry Clarkson fresh from the UK Champs in the triple jump, Hannah Wallace will take on the long jump, with multiple Scottish title holder Gillian Cooke in the pole vault.

At Kilmarnock, the field includes mother and daughter duo Mhairi and Meghan Porterfield in the shot put, while Angela McAuslan-Kelly competes in the hammer, and Dawn Russell doubles up in hammer and javelin.
