Olympic and World Champion Christine Ohuruogu will be our Guest of Honour for the 4J Annual Awards this year.
The scottishathletics and jogscotland 4J Awards Dinner is being held in Glasgow on Saturday 29 November.
We have opened up ticket sales online for our big night at the Hilton Hotel. These are priced at £57 per person.
And we are delighted to confirm British sprint icon Christine will join us on the evening as our Guest of Honour.
The 4J Annual Awards recognise, acknowledge and celebrate the athletics community across Scotland with our awards taking in coaches, clubs, volunteers and Officials. There are jogscotland awards in four categories, too.
The evening culminates with the presentations of our 4J Athlete of the Year and 4J Para Athlete of the Year awards.
Save the Date: 4J Annual Awards and National Club Conference are on Saturday 29 November
‘I am delighted to accept an invitation from Scottish Athletics to be the Guest of Honour at the 4J Annual Awards in November,’ said Christine.
‘I am really looking forward to my visit to Scotland.
‘My understanding is that as well as revealing the Athlete of the Year and Para Athlete of the Year awards, there will also be recognition on the night for coaches, clubs, volunteers and Officials.
‘I am excited to hear more about these on the night because I feel it is so important to celebrate and acknowledge areas right across the full spectrum of the sport.’

Christine Ohuruogu is a British former track and field athlete who specialised in the 400m. She is an Olympic, World, and Commonwealth champion in the event.
Christine retired from competitive athletics in 2017. Since then, she has studied law and serves on the boards of a number of sporting organisations.
Further points to note at this stage:
*The Dinner date has been pushed back this year because of the World Champs and World Para Champs and the potential impact those events may have on our main athlete awards.
*Our National Cub Conference is being held at the same venue on the same day. The Club Conference theme this year is ‘Resilience‘.
