The Glasgow Athletics Association Endurance Group cross country training sessions are back for Winter 2017-2018.
And the first of six sessions to take place over the next few months is happening this weekend on Saturday 21 October at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow. Athletes should be warmed up and ready for the first rep at 10.30am sharp.
Last season, the GAA sessions received great turn-outs from athletes and clubs for the sessions, some with over 70 athletes coming to train together!
It would be really good to see this continue for the 2017-2018 Winter, leading in to the major cross country events like the Lindsays National XC at Falkirk in February. scottishathletics supports the principle behind these group sessions and there is also an opportunity for coaches to meet each other and chat informally.
As well as this Saturday’s first session, five other dates have been identified:
Saturday 4 November Pollok Park; Saturday 18 November Tollcross Park; Thursday 28 December Bellahouston Park; Saturday 20 January Pollok Park; Saturday 10 February Tollcross Park
