Clubs asked to declare an interest in ERRA National Road Relays

Central AC savour a superb gold medal achievement at the ERRA Relays in 2023

Each year Scotland is invited to send three representative teams to the English Road Running Association 12 Stage (Male) and 6 Stage (Female) Relay held in Sutton Park, Birmingham.

Last year Central AC won this prestigious race which always demonstrates the quality in depth of the winning club.

To compete at the championship English teams need to qualify for the event from their Area Championships.

The ERRA invites three Scottish male and female teams to compete. Historically invited teams had to show strength in depth at the National X and Scottish 6 and 4 stage Road Relays at Livingston.

Teams must be able to field a quality team of first claim (UK) athletes over 6 or 12 stages which is demonstrated at our National Championships.

This year’s event is on 6 April.

If your club is interested in sending a team to compete at the ERRA relays please contact Angela Mudge (angela.mudge@scottishathletics.org.uk) to declare your interest before 31 January 2024.

The ERRA invites Scottish teams to compete at Sutton Park, if there is significant interest clubs will be notified of the selection policy.
