Eilidh four more years on Board and no change to membership fees

Eilidh Doyle has signed-up for another four years of service with our Board – as she aims to ensure views of athletes help shape our sport.

And our most decorated track and field medal winner has been reflecting on her own career in a new podcast.

Chris Broadbent has launched ‘Athletics Life Stories’ and Eilidh is one of the first guests.

In an open and candid interview, 400m hurdler Eilidh talks to Chris about her career at top level from winning European gold to almost walking away after London 2012.

She chats about her domestic rivalry with Perri Shakes-Drayton and three Commonwealth Games medals. Her relationships with coaches such as Malcolm Arnold and Charles Van Commenee.

How fellow Scot Laura Muir dealt with some noisy GB sprinters. What she makes of the current state of women’s 400m hurdling and why she chose to retire rather than strive for a third Olympic Games.
