Para athlete Lewis Clow is now firmly in contention for Team Scotland selection for the Commonwealth Games.
Libby Clegg, Samantha Kinghorn and Meggan Dawson-Farrell are already named in the team for the Para events integrated into the Glasgow 2014 programme at Hampden.
And Aberdeen sprinter Clow is making a convincing case with a second performance inside the required standard in the T37 100m.
Lewis ran 13.21 at Watford on Wednesday night with a legal wind to add to one previous performance at the standard.
Meanwhile, young Scottish athlete Maria Lyle has been named on the Para Futures Programme by British Athletics.
It is great recognition for the 14-year-old who has made a lot of progress over the past year or two with help from her coach, Henry Gray.
The U15 athlete is a T35 sprinter and performed extremely well in Dubai earlier in 2014 when she came up with a world record.
Congratulations to Maria, her family and her coach on her progress with more details on the British Athletics Para Futures Programme.
