Risk Awareness (Officials) – Virtual Classroom

Risk Awareness – Virtual Classroom – 21 November 2021 – 10am – 1pm.

Who should go on this course?

Anyone who wishes to work as an Official at Road and Cross-Country events and is looking (or already has done) to do the Level 1 Endurance Officials course.

What will I learn?

• Understand the reasons for conducting a risk assessment
• Identify why a risk assessment should be carried out, by whom and when.
• Identify the hazards and risks that are associated with organising Road and Cross Country Races
• Identify the ways of reducing risks
• Appreciate the risk assessment requirements for small/medium races
• Understand the Official’s role in risk assessment
