BIRMINGHAM: SB performances from EILIDH, EILISH and LYNSEY
The Birmingham GP commanding attention on BBC and a fine run from Eilidh Doyle in the 400m may well have secured her Glasgow 2019 individual slot.
Eilidh took second in the race in 52.43 just behind Stephenie Ann McPherson and ahead of British rival, Laviai Neilsen.
In the Women's 3000m, Eilish McColgan raced indoors for the first time this season - after missing the trials through illness - and posted 8.57.19 in seventh to get inside the qualifying standard for the 3000m.
Lynsey Sharp was fifth in the 800m in 2.02.28 - also a SB. ...

The Combined Events start today and conclude tomorrow while it is also Club Relays over 4 x 200m today. Our FPSG Masters Champs are tomorrow.

GOOD LUCK . . .
There are a number of Scots competing at the Birmingham GP tomorrow, with live coverage on BBC television.
And worth giving a special mention to five Scottish athletes who will take to the track hoping to try and secure selection in the British Athletics team for Glasgow 2019.
Adam Thomas (60m), Eilidh Doyle (400m), Lynsey Sharp (800m), Andy Butchart (1500m) and Eilish McColgan (3000m) are all set to race at Arena Birmingham.
The Women's mile race concludes the programme with Laura Muir shooting for Scottish and British records which have stood for many years (at 4.32 and 4.32) . . .
