Check out our forthcoming Coach Education courses
The learning never stops at scottishathletics and for our Scottish coaches.
And that’s why we want to again highlight some of the on-going coach education opportunities which are coming up over the next few weeks – with opportunities available in Grangemouth, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Perth.
These are scheduled for late May and late June and all of the ones listed below are for the jogscotland Jog Leader qualification. No previous experience is required to take this course.
To become a Jog Leader you need to attend a one-day training course which covers everything you need to know, from the warm-up to the cool-down.
As well as learning about jogscotland‘s gradual fitness programmes, you’ll cover other useful topics including promoting your group, risk assessment, and helping people overcome common barriers to starting exercise – such as lack of confidence, perceived lack of time, lack of support etc.
*We will have more course opportunities in athletics coming up soon. Keep checking the Coach Qualifications page to see these being listed.
