Eilidh agrees another four years on Board – membership fees stay same

scottishathletics are delighted to welcome Chuxx Onyia to our Board in a role as Non-Executive Director.

The Annual General Meeting (held online on Saturday morning) agreed a recommendation from the Board to appoint the Scotland international and multiple Scottish championship jumps medallist.

At the same time, we express our thanks and forward good wishes to Alison Johnstone, who now departs the Board.

Alison has served two four-year terms in a Non-Executive role and made a big contribution with her insight and attention to detail.

‘We want to thank Alison very much indeed for great service to our Board over a number of years,’ said David Ovens, our Chair.

‘Alison has been an influential voice within our leadership group around our strategic approach. I am sure she will remain a key supporter of the sport in the Scotland.

‘I’m very pleased to welcome Chuxx as a Non-Executive director after an open recruitment process. Chuxx brings a wealth of commercial experience as well as his perspective as one of our top jumps athletes over recent years.’
