Scottish champions were crowned over the weekend at our latest event in Ayr.
The superb facility at the Riverside Sports Arena was the backdrop for medal battles in the 4J Combined Events Champs and our 4J Masters Champs.
There were Para event opportunities, too, and steeplechase races on a weekend when, at times, weather conditions tested everyone.
Thanks to our scottishathletics Offficials who make events happen whatever the weather and to local volunteers and our hosts, Ayr Seaforth and South Ayrshire Council.
In the Para events and integrated events, it was good to see support from athletes such as Owen Miller, Ross Paterson, Cameron Thores, Kyle Brotherton, Joanna Robertson (and others).

Our Masters athletes competed for medals in five year age bands at their outdoor champs in Ayr on Saturday.
There were familiar faces – and names on the medal lists – with the competition as keen as ever.
That was followed by Masters 5000m races at the same venue on Sunday. We have content from Saturday on our YouTube channel and photos from Bobby Gavin on Facebook.
Thanks to all those who competed and congratulations on your performances.
