Calling club folk: two more ‘All Things Financial’ webinars

The scottishathletics Development Team are pleased to promote two further webinar course opportunities coming up later this month.

Our ‘All Things Financial’ courses will be delivered in partnership with the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) and are now open for booking by interested club members.

Each of the courses will last for two hours and we have 20 places available on each.

Invitation links to sign-up for each of the course have been sent by email to club secretaries and you can sign up for one, two or three depending on interest/relevance.

*Budgeting and Sound Financial Management

Wednesday 19 May 6pm to 8pm

The aim of this online course is to look at setting project and organisational budgets, which are realistic and cover full costs of service delivery. It will also look at how to monitor budgets and recognise when to take corrective action.

*Annual Accounting and External Reporting

Wednesday 26 May 6pm to 8pm

The aim of this online course is to gain a good understanding of all that is involved in preparing annual accounts and the Trustees Annual Report.

You will discover how important it is to consider reserves and be aware of the statutory requirements for audit/independent examination, filing of accounts and other notifications to regulators.
