British Athletics selection policies for 2019

All British Athletics selection policies for the remaining major international competitions this summer have now been published and are available to view online.

British Athletics has sent teams to five international events so far this year, most recently the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, with a host across all age groups and disciplines to come over the course of the rest of the year.

These include both the IAAF and World Para Athletics Championships to be held in Doha and Dubai respectively and the premier age-group events of the year, the European U23 and U20 Championships, both scheduled for July.

The selection policies outline what athletes need to do in order to earn selection for the British team for each and every event and are available to view now online.

Athletes and coaches are encouraged to consider the policies early and contact their performance point of contact with any queries as soon as possible.
