What a weekend ahead with almost 1000 athletes involved in two events on Saturday and Sunday in Glasgow featuring multiple Masters and eager U12s.
Lindsays Masters XC entry lists
There’s been plenty of focus on the EAP International coming up on Saturday – but it is not the only big event in Glasgow this weekend.
Just short of 500 athletes have put their names to entries for the Lindsays Masters XC on Saturday afternoon.
Tollcross Park is only a mile or two distant from the Emirates Arena but the mud and hills make for very different competition.
We’re thrilled to have 496 names entered – so close to the 501 Record for this event at the same venue three years ago.
Nonetheless there are Record entries in two categories
*Women W40 and above – 167 (166 in 2023)
*Men M65 and above – 69 (45 in 2023)
Thank you to all our Masters athletes for supporting #LindsaysXC and to our Officials and the Road Running and Cross Country Commission.

Sunday morning will see hundreds of the youngest athletes at our clubs descend on Emirates Arena for the popular U12s SUPERteams Indoor Final.
All SUPERteams entrants compete in each scoring event, and are encouraged to take part in a non-scoring relay. The events to be contested are:
Scoring Events: 200m / Shot Put / Long Jump
Non-scoring Event: Mixed 50m Fun Shuttle Relay
Athletes will be divided into pools to complete their four events. The rest periods required between events for these age groups, per UKA rules, will be observed.
Online entry fees: Spectators – £4 Team Chaperones – Free
A pay on the day option of £6 (card only) is available for those who have not registered in advance.
Entry to the stadium will be through Level 3. There will be no admittance through the main reception. Registration will open at 0830 and will close 60 minutes before each pool’s first event.
*Please note Celtic have a home match on Sunday with a 3pm kick-off. This will affect travel times and parking availability at the Emirates venue.
