The Scottish 10k Champs take place in Stirling in September.
And such has been the enormous demand for places on Sunday 8 September that the Podfather 10k race will now close early.
Organisers Central AC have already received more than 1200 entries and has now set a closing date of this weekend – Sunday 28 July. There is a limit of 1300 places.
The surge in interest is terrific with the race having attracted 744 entries in 2022 and 1073 in 2023.
So if you want to race in the Scottish 10K Champs please act now and enter the Podfather 10k via the link above. It is the final event of our Road Race GP series for 2024.

The Scottish Marathon Champs for 2025 are being held within the TCS London Marathon event next April.
We are keen to advise members that the London ‘good for age’ entries will open in October.
There is also the option of Championship entries, which are expected to open up in November.
