Community Athletics Coordinator and Coach – North Ayrshire AC
Contract Length – 1 year (with a view to extending)
Salary and Hours – £9468 per annum, 16 hours per week)
North Ayrshire AC, a registered charity, are very much a community-based club that works hard to cater for all aspects of the community and all disciplines of athletics.
The club, boasting over 150 active competitive members, are widely regarded as one of the most progressive and well-run sports clubs in the country with success and awards coming on and off the track.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within North Ayrshire AC for a new role as Community Athletics Coordinator and Coach as part of the scottishathletics Club Together programme.
Club Together is a fundamental project within Scotland’s National Strategy for athletics, ‘Building a Culture of Success’, placing a key focus on supporting the development of athletics clubs in the country.
The role will have a significant impact in the further growth and development of the club and athletics development infrastructure in North Ayrshire.
This part-time post (16 hours per week) is funded through a partnership between North Ayrshire AC, scottishathletics, KA Leisure and North Ayrshire Council Active Schools.

Club Development and Business Officer – Livingston AC
Contract Type: Negotiable – 6 months to 2 years
Hours: Negotiable – 20 to 30 hours per week (incl. regular evenings and weekends)
Livingston AC are seeking to fill a Club Development and Business Officer role which will have a significant impact in the future growth and development of the club.
Working with the club’s Board of Trustees, the role will assist in creating a thriving development structure within the club, focusing on the delivery of structured athlete-centred coaching, to ensure that a vibrant athletics club sits at the centre of sustainable athletics development within West Lothian.
This role is funded through a partnership between Livingston Athletic Club and scottishathletics and is part of the scottishathletics Club Together programme.
