GB U20 International Bera Ajala won Triple Jump gold at the 4J Studios Senior/U17 Champs at Grangemouth.
The Edinburgh AC athlete’s big leap of 15.89m took him out to a new Scottish U20 Record with the previous mark having been set back in 1983.
Allan Hamilton claimed the first 100m Senior title of his career with a strong run of 10.59 in the final.
The former long jumper was out of the sport for a couple of years but has returned to the sprints and victory this weekend held a special significance for Allan, following the recent loss of his grandfather, George Sinclair.
