Livingston Athletic Club currently has two vacancies as they look to help grow the sport in their community.
The Club Business Officer role will be part of the scottishathletics Club Together programme while the club are also seeking a Jogging Coordinator.
Livingston AC are a well-established and successful athletics club based in West Lothian. The club has a membership of over 400 across our club and community programmes, catering for both adults and junior members, at all levels, from age five upwards.
Livingston AC were the ‘Sports Club of the Year’ at the 2018 West Lothian Celebrating Sport awards, and were twice recently nominated for the scottishathletics ‘Impact Club of the Year’ award. Both jobs close applications on April 19.
Club Business Officer
The role will have a significant impact in the future growth and development of the club.
The Club Business Officer role will provide support to the Club Board, focusing on the development and delivery of the club’s business/development plan, with a specific focus on progressing the club’s facility and fundraising objectives, to ensure that a vibrant athletics club sits at the centre of sustainable athletics development within the community of West Lothian.
This part-time role is funded through a partnership between Livingston AC, scottishathletics and sportscotland, and is part of the scottishathletics Club Together programme.
Jogging Coordinator
This exciting new role will have a significant impact in the future growth and development of the club’s jogging and recreational running section.
The Jogging Coordinator will plan, coordinate and ensure effective implementation of new jogging groups, to ensure that a vibrant athletics club sits at the centre of sustainable athletics development within the community.
