British Athletics Disability Inclusion Training course
Calling all Scottish coaches and clubs!
The British Athletics Disability Inclusion Training course (formerly UKDIT) has now been moved online and you can sign-up for it now at specially discounted rates.
Material for this course was developed in partnership with the Home Counties federations, with both scottishathletics and Scottish Disability Sport involved.
The course provides knowledge and understanding to overcome barriers to participation, ensuring that athletics, running sessions and activities are more inclusive for everybody.
The module is an interactive eLearning course and takes approximately two hours to complete. Your progress can be saved so you do not have to complete the course at one time.
The cost for the course was originally £20 but that has now been reduced to £15 and payment can be made online when you book.
The course covers the following:
It also provides some examples of where and how this has been applied in practice in athletics clubs in the UK.
