We’re delighted to announce that scottishathletics has teamed up with easyfundraising to give all of our clubs the opportunity to raise funds simply by shopping online. easyfundraising is the UK’s biggest retail fundraising platform connecting over 1 million supporters with 100,000 good causes, including over 250 athletics clubs UK wide. There are over 3,000 retailers who will give your club a donation, simply as a thank you for shopping with them – covering everything from groceries and fashion, to sports equipment and insurance.
1. Sign up your club as a cause at http://scottishathletics.easyfundraising.org.uk/
2. Then log in to easyfundraising every time you shop online via a computer, tablet or mobile device…
3. …click out to your chosen retailer, shop as normal and the club/team gets a free donation from the retailer – easy!
Get fellow members, parents, colleagues shopping in support and you could raise thousands! Watch this get started video showing you how easily the funds can come rolling in just by shopping online.
Visit http://scottishathletics.easyfundraising.org.uk/ and click “Register” to sign up your club. Simply follow the steps, there are no personal questions – it takes a matter of minutes and is completely FREE. Alternatively, click “Support” to support a club if it’s already registered. If you can’t find them when you search, register them.

Sports-based causes have raised almost £2.5m using easyfundraising, including £28,000 for athletics clubs alone. Swale AC in England have raised over £500 so far and we want as many clubs in Scotland as possible to follow their lead. Make your fundraising a real team effort without any effort at all.
