Athlete information for Grangemouth

Hundreds of young athletes from our clubs will converge on Grangemouth this weekend for the 4J Age Group Champs.

This event is always one of our most popular track and field events of the year and we are deligthed to have 942 athletes are entered.

Saturday’s action will see our U16 athletes compete for Scottish National Championship medals, final places and Personal Bests.

Sunday will then see our U14 athletes centre stage at Grangemouth. The U20 events are split over the two days, as has been the format for their programme in recent years.

Athlete information for the 4J Age Groups is on the link at the top and we urge those competing, as well as families and coaches, to read the notes, please.

Check start-lists via OpenTrack

Once the action starts this weekend, that link will become live Results,

Bobby Gavin, our official Photographer, is on duty both days at Grangemouth to bring you superb images of the action.

We also plan clips of video content on our social media platforms – mainly YouTube and Instagram. You can join the conversation by using the hashtag #4Jathletics

At this stage we say a huge thank you in advance to our qualified scottishathletics Officials and all event volunteers.

Thanks of course to our hosts Grangemouth Community Sports Trust (who now operate the venue).
