Tom McKean will be our Guest of Honour for 4J Awards Dinner in November

Tom McKean will be our Guest of Honour at our 4J Annual Awards in November.

The Scottish track icon, who won a string of top class medals in the 1980s and early 1990s, was European and World champion for 800m indoors.

Tom has returned to an active role in the sport in recent years and now leads coaching at Motherwell AC.

The 4J Awards Dinner, with the McGhee’s jogscotland Awards, will be held in at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow on Saturday 14 November.

Tickets are on sale now for clubs to take tables and for individuals for what is always a special night for our sport.

Within the next couple of weeks we plan to confirm our event presenter who will help present awards and chat in depth to Tom after dinner has been served.

Tom will help us reveal and present the 4J Athlete of the Year and 4J Para Athlete of the Year but the evening is about so much more than those two headline acts at around 11pm.

This year’s awards consider performances and contributions to athletics between October 2025 and September 2026.
