
Eight to race Antrim Coast Half Marathon
scottishathletics are delighted to name eight athletes to race for Scotland in Northern Ireland next month.
The 5k road race opportunity is part of the Antrim Coast Half Marathon event programme on Sunday 23 August.
We have previously named the half marathon selections for Antrim and are pleased to now confirm our selections to race over 5k.
Many congratulations to the athletes picked for Scotland and to their families, coaches and clubs on a significant representative honour.
Scotland Men:
Peter Bradshaw (Inverclyde AC); Alasdair Kinloch (Tonbridge AC); Ben MacMillan (Falkirk Victoria Harriers); Angus Smith (Corstorphine AAC)
Scotland Women:
Katie Rourke (Gala Harriers); Stefanie Tucker (Cambuslang Harriers); Kirsty Walker (Edinburgh AC); Grace Whelan (Central AC)

The team will be selected based on current form over 5k races of a similar distance (on road or track).
Team Size: Up to four men and up to four women (with one U23 athlete for development – where appropriate)
