Headed for Poland: Josh and Jemma selected to race for GB and NI at the World Indoors

The Novuna GB and NI team has been selected for the World Indoors in Poland later this month.

And we are pleased to celebrate the inclusion of two Scots in that team for Torun – Josh Kerr and Jemma Reekie.

In total, the British team for the World Indoors numbers 29 and features Keely Hodgkinson and Georgia Hunter Bell after their flying visit to Glasgow last weekend.

The team has been selected based on the performance aims to maximise medal success and top-eight placings at these Championships.

Josh will race in the 3000m as he defends the title he won in Glasgow two years ago. Jemma, silver medallist in the 800m at the Emirates Arena in 2024, is picked for 1500m after winning the UK Indoor title.

‘With 29 athletes selected to represent the Novuna GB and NI team, including some exciting senior debutants and experienced international performers, we are ready to take on the very best in the world.

‘This championship marks an important beginning to what promises to be a landmark year for the team, with a home European Championships on the horizon this summer.

‘I have complete confidence in the team’s ability to rise to the occasion and proudly represent the nation on the global stage.
