Entries are open: Lindsays National XC at Falkirk presents key target for hundreds of runners

Thursday 15th January 2026

Entries have opened today for the Lindsays National XC next month.

The pinnacle of the Lindsays Cross Country Season will take place on Saturday 21 February in Falkirk.

Callendar Park has become the spiritual home for this hugely popular event and we will return to the venues once again for the 2026 Championships.

Clubs and individual athletes can enter via the online system.

Entries close at 5pm on Thursday 5th February 2026

No late entries will be accepted.

For hundreds of endurance athletes across our club community this is the ‘big one’ with Saturday 21 February already etched in training and competition diaries and firmly on minds.

Sponsors Lindsays confirmed their backing for another four years at the start of the season and we’ve already seen exciting national events at Cumbernauld and at Lanark.

Now we are hoping for at least 2000 names on start lists with races for all age groups from U13 through to Seniors/Masters.

The programme at Falkirk covers ten races in all.

All athletes must compete for their first claim (Scottish) club or their school/university club (if affiliated).

Athletes who compete MUST be current members of scottishathletics or their National Governing Body on the day of the race.

Individuals or Team managers will not be able to enter athletes without a valid membership online, so it is important that membership validity is checked well in advance of the closing date.

There will be no entry extensions for membership renewals.
