Central AC duo Jamie Crowe and Morag Millar are leading the way in our cross country Grand Prix.
The four-race series is now at the halfway stage after the Lindsays District XC Champs offered up more points to add to those earned at Lanark.
And Central AC’s role as a dominated force in this discipline is clear with five of the top ten athletes – across the Men’s and Women’s division – clad in yellow vests.
Jamie leads the Men’s table on 86 points with Jamie Burns of Shettleston second on 77 and Hamish Hickey of Central third on 67.
Completing the top five are Aidan Thompson, a third Central AC athlete, with 66 and Finlay Ross-Davie of Garscube Harriers on 50.
Morag leads the Women’s table on 93 points with Niamh Carr of Carnethy HRC on 76 points in second and Brogan Wallace on Shettleston is third on 72 points.
Completing the top five are Grace Whelan, a second Central AC athlete, on 63 points with Gala Harrier Katie Rourke fifth on 51 points.
The GP heads to Glasgow for the Inter-District XC and then concludes at the Lindsays National XC at Falkirk in February.
