Calling Scottish athletes: We seek expressions of interest for EAP Glasgow

EAP meet info for would-be competing athletes

Our exciting EAP Indoor International meet is coming back to Glasgow early in 2026.

And we want to see Scottish athletes competing at the Emirates Arena as part of the programme on Saturday 31 January.

So those who wish to be involved should now express their interest. In the 2025 pilot event, almost 50 percent of the competing athletes were Scottish.

The meeting provides an early-season opportunity for athletes to post strong performances ahead of major indoor championships, while offering spectators the chance to experience elite athletics up-close.

International events:

Senior 60m Hurdles (female only), 60m, 200m, 400m, 800m, mile, long jump

U20 400m, long jump

Para 60m, long jump

Athletes keen to compete must complete the expression of interest form HERE to register their interest in competing.

The table below shows in brackets the number of Scots who have achieved the standards in 2025.

Invitations will be sent out to athletes from Monday 5 January 2026, and athletes will have 3 days to confirm their acceptance before the place is offered to the next athlete on the list.

The final deadline for entries to be confirmed is 5pm on Thursday 15 January.
