Our Scottish Cross Country Grand Prix for senior athletes is up and running.

The Lindsays Short Course XC at Lanark was the first opportunity for runners to land points via their finishing position.

Three further races then complete the series with the Lindsays District XC – at three venues – next on the schedule on Saturday 6 December.

Lindsays Short Course champions Finlay Ross-Davie and Morag Millar thus lead the initial table in the competition for shares of a total prize pot of £4000.

Garscube athlete Finlay has 50 points with Logan Rees of Fife AC on 43 and Jamie Crowe of Central AC on 36.

Central AC athlete Morgan has 50 points with Niamh Carr of Carnethy HRC on 43 and Brogan Wallace of Shettleston on 36.
