scottishathletics are looking for applicants for the next Cohort of our Athletics Trust Scotland Young People’s Forum (ATS YPF).

The inaugural cohort of the ATS YPF first met in December 2021 and we are now looking to recruit our third group of young people (to serve a two-year term).

Over the last four years, 30 inspirational members from across the country have given their time to help shape athletics in Scotland.

The aim of the ATS YPF is to give young people a platform and voice in all aspects of the planning, development and delivery of athletics in Scotland.

We value and recognise the importance of providing opportunities for our young people across all roles to have a voice in our sport and how it can have a positive outcome for young people.

As such, scottishathletics would like to invite young athletes, coaches, Officials and/or club volunteers to express an interest in joining our YPF.

We would love to hear from you if you are :

* Living in Scotland

*Aged between 14-23 (inclusive)

*Are a member and/or volunteer withing a scottishathletics affiliated club

*Have been a member and/or volunteer within a scottishathletics affiliated club within the last two years

*Passionate about athletics

*Want to make a difference to young people in sport

To apply for the third cohort of the ATS YPF, please either:

1) Complete the short application form below.

Or

2) Submit a short video (no more than 3-4 minutes) answering the questions in the form. Video applications should be submitted to YPF@scottishathletics.org.uk

The closing date for all applications is noon on Friday 24 October 2025
