British Athletics website report

Scottish athletes headed for the final British Cross Challenge event of the cross country season at the Inter Counties.

All roads led to Nottingham and there were a number of strong performances.

And great to confirm that the success included medals in the first-ever Para race included in a British Cross Challenge Series meeting.

Scots, in fact, won gold and bronze there thanks to the runs by Sam Fernando (Fife AC) and Finlay Maclennan (Inverness Harriers).

James Alexander (Garscube Harriers) took a superb silver medal in the U17 Men’s and Edinburgh AC’s Jessica Taylor was so close in fourth in the Women’s race in that age group.
