Glasgow to play host to UKA Performance Roadshow on 27 January

Tuesday 7th January 2025

Following the success of last year’s Performance Roadshow, UKA CEO Jack Buckner and Olympic Programme Head Coach Paula Dunn will once again hold a series of meetings around the UK.

And the tour will start in Glasgow with a session at the Emirates Arena on Monday 27 January 2025 (from 6.30pm).

We invite athletes, coaches, parents and others interested in the activities of UK Athletics across the athletics community in Scotland to sign-up to attend.

With meetings scheduled for each Home Country, aspiring and current GB and NI athletes, coaches and support networks are welcome to join in, with sessions helping to outline the purpose of the World Class Programme, (Olympic and Paralympic) processes around selection policies and answer your questions on the UKA Performance Strategy.

Jack and Paula will hold Q and A sessions and provide the sport with a chance to speak directly to them on related subjects.

‘We had great feedback about last year’s roadshow and it was brilliant to meet so many people from across the sport,’ said Jack Buckner.

‘Paula and I will once again be answering the questions they want to know about Performance, teams and the world class programme. We are really looking forward to meeting people at one of the six scheduled events.’
