Mhairi lands GB marathon selection for Euro Road Running Champs

There was great news this week for Mhairi Maclennan as she was named by British Athletics among their selections for the European Road Running Champs.
Inverness Harriers athlete Mhairi will race in the marathon in Leuven in Belgium at the event next April.
Mhairi won the Scottish Half Marathon in Inverness earlier this year and then our Marathon championship with 2:29.15 at the London Marathon back in April. She was top Brit in the Women’s race that day.
Ross Cairns, who won our Performance Coach of the Year title at the 4J Awards, is coaching Mhairi.
The selection is good news, too, for the scottishathletics Marathon Project.
