Countdown to Europe’s biggest running weekend – European Running Championships
Natasha Phillips is ready to make her Senior debut for GB and NI at this weekend’s inaugural European Road Running Champs in Belgium
And Beth Potter will wear a British vest once again at the same event in Leuven.
European Athletics and their Belgian hosts have combined mass participation events with the road championships in an innovative approach.
Around 28,000 are expected to race across the marathon, half marathon and 10k events in Leuven and Brussels.
Natasha is selected by UK Athletics for the half marathon and will race on Saturday morning.
Beth is selected by UK Athletics for the 10k after winning the trial at that distance. The double Olympic triathlon medallist will race on Sunday morning.
