Event details 

The Scottish Trail Champs are being held this weekend on Speyside.

Runners will compete over 10k within the Skedaddle-Speyside 10k event on the morning of Sunday 15 Ocotober.

Entries were due to close earlier this midweek and it was good to see more than 100 names entered – with the race having a limit of 150.

Given the 10k nature of the event, the Scottish Trail Champs are for U20s/Seniors/Masters athletes with medals in those categories.

Team medals in those age bands are on offer, too, with three to count.

The organisers have said: ‘In the event of torrential (awful) weather, we may be forced to postpone for safety reasons; in this event the race will be rescheduled, runners will be informed & automatically re-entered.’

Good luck to all involved whether you are competing, coaching or supporting or indeed making the event happen as an Official or a volunteer.
