Four out of six races see our defending champions win golds again at Livingston
Central AC and Shettleston Harriers were our Senior race winners at the National Road Relays.
It was double joy for both clubs in a sense as they added Livingston glory to the team golds won in the same categories at the Lindsays National XC at Falkirk last month.
We spoke to the four members of Shettleston’s winning team (as well as team captain Avril Mason) and the six-strong Central AC team who retained the title won a year earlier at the West Lothian venue.
There’s also race start footage from Livingston on a day when almost 500 athletes took to the roads around St Margaret’s Academy fully 25 years after the National Road Relays first moved to this venue.
