Medals on offer on Friday then at 4J Age Groups

Thursday 17th February 2022

Senior track races will now happen on Friday 18 February

The 4J Indoor Season has already allowed hundreds of athletes to deliver performances via various events at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.

And now we’re preparing for another big weekend with action across a range of championship age brackets over 48 hours or so.

It all starts at 6pm on Friday night with Scottish Senior medals up for grabs in ‘non-laned track races’ after those were originally cancelled from the programme in January due to Covid-19 restrictions at that time.

So we’re looking forward to races over 400/800/1500/3000 on Friday evening with those indoor championships being contested for the first time in two years after no events took place in 2021.

Then, over Saturday and Sunday, it is the turn of our U20/U15/U13 athletes to take centre stage with close to 700 names on the lists for the Emirates for the 4J Age Groups.

The U15s compete on Saturday and the U13s on Sunday. The U20 programme takes place over the two days.

Live Results for each of these events is available. The applicable link can be found via the Event Section pages (see below).

As always on these occasions, we say a huge thank you to the athletes, coaches and clubs who have committed to competition and supported our events with entries.

And we thank in advance our volunteers, staff and qualified scottishathletics Officials on duty over Friday/Saturday/Sunday for helping to make events happen with unstinting commitment to the sport.
