Scottish international ultra runner Jo Murphy was in fine form over the weekend as she took on a 24-hour race.
Jo won the women’s race in the Gloucester 24 event as she finished third overall with a distance of 230+ kilometres.
That elevates the 34-year-old to third in the Scottish all-time list and into the top ten for British women for 24-hour runs in eighth place.
Many congratulations Jo and good luck with the recovery.
Also in ultra running, Robbie Simpson stepped up to the 50 miles distance this weekend as he competed at the Grand Trail des Templiers event in France.
The 2018 Commonwealth Games marathon bronze medallist finished in seventh place in 7:12.28.

Kilbarchan duo Derek Hawkins and Lewis Hannigan were in action at the Leeds 10k.
And U20 athlete Lewis came up with a very fine performance to break 30 minutes for the first time as he finished 13th in 29:36. Lewis is coached by Robert Hawkins.
It’s also really good to see Olympian Derek fit again and his run of 29:40 took 21st place in a race which is always highly competitive.
