The 4J Studios Senior/U17 Championships will be at Grangemouth on the weekend of August 14/15.
It is the 128th edition of the Senior event and with live stream coverage via Vinco across both days of competition, we know it will be an opportunity not to be missed.
Hundreds of names have come in so far and there’s a fortnight left to enter with the system to close at 11.59pm on Thursday 29 July!
Please remember to go online and renew your scottishathletics membership if need be in order to be clear to compete.
Enter online here
Please note that waiting lists are already in operation for: Senior Men’s 100m, U17 Men’s 100m; U17 Men’s 200m; U17 Women’s Long Jump. The U17 Men’s 200m and the U17 Women’s 100m are almost full.
In order for as many athletes as possible to compete, each individual can compete in up to three events over the weekend within Seniors or U17 age group. U15 athletes stepping up to U17 can compete in two events.
We also have U20 5000m Championship races at Grangemouth that weekend – enter via the link above.
We’re hugely grateful to our sponsors 4J Studios for their on-going support for track and field and also to our Officials, venue staff and many other volunteers who help us make events happen.
Please note that there are capped numbers for each event and the programme for Seniors, U17s and the U20 5000m Champs are spread over the Saturday and Sunday.
*Entries will close at 11.59pm on Thursday 29 July.
*Coaches and spectators should note that applications to attend Grangemouth on August 14/15 are now open online.
*Events that reach capacity will operate with a waiting list thereafter.
As we say often ‘Competition: It’s What You Train For’, and we do hope that National Championship events will be very well-supported in 2021.
KEY QUESTIONS WHILE ENTERING . . .
Question: I can’t get to the entry page as the fixture listing just says entries open soon. What do I do?
Answer: As entry is open only to members at the moment, the athlete needs to log in to their account before completing their entry. Log in, and then enter via the fixture page within the portal.
Question: The page says there are no fees set so I can’t complete my entry. What do I do?
Answer: Similarly, entry fees are only available to members currently. The athlete needs to make sure that their membership is valid for the competition date when they enter (ie. it does not expire between now and the competition date), otherwise they will not be recognised as a current member by the entry form.
So, please renew, then return to the entry form to complete the entry.
4J Studios Age Group Champs will take place in Aberdeen on the weekend of August 28/29.
U15s will compete on Saturday and U13s on Sunday with the U20 programme spread over the two days.
*We are already operating waiting lists in the following events: U13 Girls Long Jump; U15 Girls 100m; U15 Girls 200m; U15 Girls Long Jump. Events very close to being full: U15 Girls High Jump; U15 Girls 800m; U15 girls shot put.
