CLUBS: ENTER NOW for District XC Relays

WATCH highlights of the Lindsays National XC Relays on Vinco

Cross country is coming soon – and we are looking for entries now from clubs for the District XC Relays.

These are the first events of the scottishathletics season and are taking place at three venues on Saturday 13 October.

This year, all three events in the West, East and North are on the same day and have the same closing date for entries – Thursday 27 September.

To help us in the admin for these three regional events, the preferred option for entries is for clubs to send us forms by email to events@scottishathletics.org.uk

The District XC Relays are always a great way to start the competitive season and a fortnight after these events – at Irvine in the West, Glamis Castle in the East and Dores near Inverness in the North – we reconvene at Cumbernauld for the Lindsays National XC Relays on Saturday 27 October.

As always on these occasions, we are grateful to many people and organisations in the planning for such events and at this stage would like to thank our three host clubs – Forfar Road Runners (East), Inverness Harriers (North) and North Ayrshire AC (West) – for their assistance thus far.

The West event was originally scheduled for Largs but has now been moved to Irvine Beach Park and the course used for many years by Scottish Schools and, at one time, the National XC.
