Central deliver strong team effort for seventh at European Clubs XC

There was great news on Sunday as a fine performance saw Central AC finish seventh in Europe.

The races in Portugal saw a really strong team effort from Central AC in the European Clubs XC Champs.

It was seventh place for Derek Easton‘s squad with Jamie Crowe enjoying a fine run and top ten placing at ninth.

There was a top 20 place for Hamish Hickey at 19 and the third counter was Aidan Thompson at 35, Alastair Marshall at 43 completed the team.

Central were representing Scotland and the UK after success at the National XC Relays at Cumbernauld and then in the British Cross Challenge and Trial at Liverpool.

Congratulations to all at Central AC on another excellent cross country team performance.
